Christian Hopp

Christian Hopp has worked in various roles related to energy trading and analysis. Christian is currently an Energy Trader at DV Trading LLC since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Power Trading Analyst at SESCO Enterprises from August 2019 to June 2021. Before that, they held the position of Real Time Energy Trader at FirstLight Power Resources, Inc. from November 2017 to August 2019. Christian has also gained experience as an Energy Analyst at Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant TMLP, where they performed a range of tasks including analyzing energy market data, forecasting solar generation and load, and designing electric customer rates. Christian also led project teams for community solar and battery storage projects. Christian holds certificates in various aspects of the ISO-New England Wholesale Energy Market.

Christian Hopp attended the Wentworth Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2015, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electromechnical Engineering.
