Jeremy Herz

Jeremy Herz is the Co-Head of Corporate Credit and Co-Portfolio Manager of the MSD Credit Opportunity Funds, Private Credit Opportunity Funds, Special Investments Funds and MSD Investment Corp. Prior to joining MSD in 2011, as a senior member of the Credit Opportunity Group, he was a credit analyst for Onex Credit Partners focusing primarily on distressed and high yield bonds as well as restructured equities. Before that, he worked for Soros Fund Management focused on distressed debt and was an associate for Insight Partners, investing in growth software companies. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking analyst at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s Real Estate Investment Banking Group.

Jeremy is a member of the Cornell University Council. He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University, where he graduated with highest distinction, and graduated with an M.B.A. from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
