Patricia MacHado

Patricia Machado is the Medical Capabilities & Services Manager at MSD Portugal since October 2015. Prior to this, Patricia worked as a Research And Development Scientist at biosurfit, Project Manager Trainee at MSD Portugal, and as a Graduate Research Fellow at the Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (IHMT) / Nova University of Lisbon (UNL). Patricia holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences, Parasitology from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and has a background in Biology from the University of Évora. Patricia has a strong research background in malaria epidemiology and genetic biomarker identification.
