Uroš Matijašević

Uro L. is a Research Data Engineer at Citadel Securities, focusing on Alternative Data Alpha since July 2022. Uro previously served as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Maryland, contributing to research on revenue-maximizing auctions, which was accepted at AISTATS 2022. Uro co-led the Smith Investment Fund as Co-President, emphasizing systematic strategy research, and completed multiple internships at Facebook, where the focus included developing software for question answering and civic integrity. Uro also gained experience as a Quantitative Research Intern at Millennium Management LLC, specializing in systematic VIX and options strategy research. Uro holds a degree from the University of Maryland and completed secondary education at Montgomery Blair High School, specializing in Math, Science, and Computer Science.
