Lise Verlaet

Lise Verlaet is a Professor at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier 3, where Lise has been since September 2012 and currently serves as the Head of the Master Management et valorisation de l'information numérique (MAVINUM) and holds a position as Maître de conférences at the Institut des Technosciences de l'Information et de la Communication (ITIC). Lise is also the Director of the Department Information-Documentation and the Master 2 Gestion de l'Information et de la Documentation (GID) at ITIC Montpellier. Additionally, Lise has been involved in research at LERASS-Céric and has led the research program Numerev at MSH since September 2016. With a strong educational background, Lise obtained multiple degrees from Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, culminating in an Habilitation à diriger des recherches in Sciences de l’information et de la communication. Previous roles include leadership at e-nov InCom and teaching positions at ISCOM and Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III. Research interests focus on collective intelligence technologies, semantic web, and info-visualization.
