Alexander Schmitt

Alexander Schmitt currently serves as the Chief Reinsurance Officer (CRO) and Chief Underwriting Officer (CUO) Casualty & Specialties at MSIG Insurance Europe AG. Prior to this, Schmitt held various leadership positions in the insurance industry, including Head of Casualty & Specialties at Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Co. (Europe) Ltd, Leiter Haftpflicht at GERLING-KONZERN ALLGEMEINE VERSICHERUNGS-AG, and Bereichsleiter Haftpflicht / Rechtsschutz at Gerling-Konzern Stuttgart GmbH. Schmitt graduated with a Diplom in Wirtschaftsingenieur from Technische Hochschule Karlsruhe in 1989.
