Uman Shahzad has a diverse work experience starting in 2017 as an Open Source Developer & DevOps at OpenCraft, where they managed infrastructure operations, automation, and developed software for large enterprises. From 2018 to 2019, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at IPinfo.io, serving as the technical lead for the web and API product. In 2020, they joined IPinfo.io again as the Head of Backend & Integrations, responsible for managing the backend team, infrastructure operations, and site reliability. Uman then went on to found and become the CEO of multiple companies, including Mslm, Jamaat, Mslm Dev, and Mslm Business Cloud, all in 2021. Each of these companies focuses on different sectors, from building world-class solutions to empowering Muslims worldwide and providing enterprise-grade platforms for businesses.
Uman Shahzad attended Roosevelt High School from 2009 to 2013. Following that, from 2013 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science at Hunter College.
