Kalle Känd

Kalle Känd has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, currently serving as the CEO of MS PHARMA since February 2020. Prior to this role, Kalle held the position of Managing Partner at Kaper Pharma from December 2018 to January 2020, and served as CEO and CCO at ACINO INTERNATIONAL AG from May 2014 to November 2018. Kalle's earlier experience includes a role as VP of Strategy for Emerging Markets at Takeda Pharmaceuticals from January 2012 to April 2014, and as Head of Strategy & Alliance Management and Director of International Marketing at Nycomed from March 2006 to December 2011. Kalle's career at Takeda Pharmaceuticals (formerly Nycomed) began in 2001 as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing. Kalle also served as Country Manager at BERLIN-CHEMIE Menarini from 1998 to 2001. Kalle Känd holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Tartu, completed from 1983 to 1991.
