Laurence Scally

Laurence Scally, PhD, currently serves as a Process Technician in Quartz Diffusion at MSR-FSR, LLC, since March 2024. Previously, Laurence worked as a Plasma Scientist at PlasmaLeap Technologies, focusing on the development of cold plasma technologies for food processing and surface decontamination from February 2021 to June 2023. Past experience includes a role as a Fraud Analyst at the Bank of Ireland in 2020 and a Postgraduate Research Student at Technological University Dublin, where Laurence conducted a PhD project on plasma diagnostics and engineering from 2015 to 2019. Early career positions included a student at DIT Kevin Street and an intern at UCD School of Chemistry and Chemical Biology, where research involved conjugated polymer nanoparticles. Laurence holds a PhD in Physics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Nanotechnology from Technological University Dublin.
