Bill Hsiung

Bill Hsiung is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor and technology sectors, currently serving as Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Marketing at MStar Semiconductor since October 2011. In these roles, Bill oversees corporate business initiatives encompassing partnerships, strategy, and roadmap development. Bill also leads various teams, including system engineering and corporate software marketing, focusing on software architecture improvements, advanced feature development, and product roadmap execution for Smart TV and STB markets. Prior to MStar, Bill held significant positions at Trident Microsystems Inc. as Principal Architect and at Trident Multimedia Inc. as Sr. Software Manager, as well as Engineering Manager at Rise Technology Co. Bill holds a postdoctoral research degree in eye movement from the University of California, Berkeley.
