Florian Ruhhammer

Florian Ruhhammer is an experienced aerospace professional currently serving as the Head of Launcher Ground Facilities and Services at MT Aerospace AG since January 2023. Prior to this role, Florian held various positions at the Deutsches Zentrum für Luft-und Raumfahrt e.V., including Project Manager for the Ariane 6 Launcher Integration & Operation and System Engineer on the Ariane 6 Launcher System Project in collaboration with the European Space Agency. Florian also contributed to the Space Generation Advisory Council in multiple managerial roles from March 2016 to April 2020, overseeing critical aspects of the Space Generation Congress. Earlier experience includes a traineeship at the European Space Agency focusing on launcher anomalies and assistant roles at the University of Bremen and DLR, participating in research related to hybrid rocket technology and concurrent engineering studies. Florian Ruhhammer holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Bremen and a Bachelor of Engineering from FH Aachen University of Applied Sciences.
