Matthew Bernard

Matthew was born and raised in Ashland, Oregon. From an early age Matthew embodied the idea that if you learn to ski here, you can ski anywhere. He competed on the Mt Ashland Racing Association Team and the Ashland High School Ski Team. He now enjoys sharing his love of Mt. Ashland with his wife and kids. When the mountain is not open, he can be found mountain biking in the hills around Ashland, surfing at the Oregon coast, and enjoying the great outdoors in as many ways as possible.

A graduate of Ashland High School, and Southern Oregon University, Matthew is the Owner and CEO of Work Sharp, a 4th generation family business headquartered in Ashland, Oregon. During his time at the helm, the company has grown substantially and been recognized as one of Oregon’s best workplaces year after year for the last decade. He has served on several other boards near and dear to his, and our communities heart.

Having grown up on Mt. Ashland, Matthew is dedicated to ensuring that future generations will get to enjoy this amazing asset in our community.
