Matthew Egan

Matthew Egan currently serves as the SVP - Director of Mortgage Operations at M&T Bank, a position held since February 2024. Prior to this, Matthew worked at Guaranteed Rate as the Senior Vice President - Operations, overseeing Consumer Direct, Home Equity, and Personal Loans operations from June 2021 to February 2024. Matthew's previous experience includes roles at Citizens Bank, where roles included SVP - Head of Retail & Consumer Direct Operations and SVP - Channel Administration Manager, as well as positions at Bank of America and PHH Mortgage. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Temple University and graduated from Father Judge High School.
