Tia Astrain

Tia Astrain has a diverse work experience in marketing and administration. Tia started their career at Eastern Arizona College as a Work-Study Student, where they performed various tasks such as assisting students with research, cataloging books and movies, and collaborating with other library clerks. Tia then took on the role of Library Clerk, where they continued to provide support to students and oversee work-study students. Tia later became the Work-Study Coordinator, where they led, supervised, and trained a team of work-study students, coordinated their schedules, and acted as a liaison between the students and the Director of the library.

Tia also gained experience in marketing and community relations during their time as an intern and assistant at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center. As a Marketing and Community Relations Intern, they worked on various projects and gained valuable skills in marketing. Tia then progressed to the role of Marketing Assistant, where they further contributed to marketing efforts. Currently, Tia is working as a Marketing Representative at Mt. Graham Regional Medical Center.

Tia Astrain began their education at Thatcher High School, where they completed their high school studies from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they pursued an Associate's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching at Eastern Arizona College, graduating in 2017. Tia then continued their education at Brigham Young University - Idaho, where they focused on Communications with a specialization in Digital and Social Media. Tia completed their degree in 2021. In addition to their formal education, Tia obtained a Hootsuite Platform Certification in November 2019 from Hootsuite.
