Kurt Christofel

Kurt Christofel serves as a Fire Lieutenant and Fire Inspector at Mt. Lebanon Municipality since August 2011, focusing on fire prevention and life safety education to safeguard citizens and property. Additionally, Kurt has been an Adjunct Instructor at the PA State Fire Academy since May 2008. Previously, Kurt worked as a Health and Safety Specialist at Weavertown Environmental Group from May 2010 to August 2011 and as a Training Coordinator at Babcock & Wilcox from February 1999 to May 2010. Kurt holds a degree in Fire Science, Fire Protection from the Community College of Allegheny County, completed between 1995 and 1998, and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1995.
