Amanda Young

Amanda Young has a diverse background in education and childcare, currently serving as a 4th grade teacher in the Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District since August 2017, after previously teaching 3rd grade. Amanda also has experience as a guest teacher in the Campbell Union School District and as a certified yoga instructor since December 2015. Earlier roles included childcare management and special occasion management at the Oshman Family JCC, where responsibilities included creating engaging activities for children and providing excellent customer service. Amanda began their career as a lead teacher with KLC School Partnership and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from San Jose State University, as well as a Masters of Teaching Leadership and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from National University.
