Richard Marion

Richard Marion has a wealth of experience in the real estate and finance industry. Richard currently holds the position of Senior Vice President - Chief Asset Manager at M&T Realty Capital Corporation since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Vice President at CapitalOne from March 2019 to April 2023, where they were in charge of managing the Centralized Processes team responsible for surveillance functions within the Agency portfolio of loans. Before joining CapitalOne, Richard worked as a Director at Newmark Knight Frank from October 2018 to March 2019. Richard spent a significant portion of their career at Berkeley Point Capital LLC, where they held the role of Director from April 1997 to October 2018. In this position, they oversaw a group responsible for managing the assets most at risk in the multifamily portfolio and conducted regular meetings with senior management to discuss portfolio status and develop action plans. Richard's career began at MNC Mortgage Corporation, where they worked as a Multifamily Asset Manager from January 1992 to April 1997, performing physical inspections and financial evaluations of properties securing multifamily mortgages.

From 1986 to 1990, Richard Marion attended Kalamazoo College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree with a focus on Economics.
