Hans-Florian Zeilhofer

Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Hans-Florian Zeilhofer has played a role in various entrepreneurial ventures and is currently involved in several Medtech start-up companies. He is a professor and, since 2002, has been Head of the Department for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University Hospital in Basel. His research has covered such areas as the use of computer-assisted 3D-methods in facial skull surgery. In addition, has served as Chief Physician at the Kantonsspital Aarau as well as Head of the Hightech Research Center of Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery, which he established and which has been the birthplace of several successful start-ups. Prof. Dr. Dr. Dr. h.c. Zeilhofer earned his doctorate and habilitation qualification at TU Munich. He retired from Academia in 2020.
