Lance van der Scholtz

Lance Van Der Scholtz is an experienced sales manager with a strong background in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of Sales for Large Enterprises at MTN Business since June 2022, Lance has previously held key positions including Account Manager for Financial Services at BCX and Key Account Manager for the Telco Vertical at Red Hat, where the focus was on building commercial relationships in Sub-Saharan Africa. Lance's extensive experience includes roles as Sales Manager at Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent, where responsibility encompassed new business development and achieving sales targets within the Southern Africa region. Starting a career at Telkom, Lance progressed from Engineer in Technology Strategy and Integration to Strategic Account Manager for a major financial institution. Lance holds an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, a Master of Engineering in Project Management from the University of Pretoria, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Cape Town.
