Head Of HR & Performance Management For Fintech at MTN Cameroon

OMGBA Serge has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. OMGBA'smost recent position was as the Head of HR & Performance Management for Fintech at MTN Cameroon. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Consultant & Associate at African Capability Network. OMGBA also served as an HR Manager Regional Office at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. Additionally, Serge held the role of Regional Human Resources Manager at Aggreko, where they coordinated HR processes, advised managers on HR topics, and maintained salary structures. Before that, they worked at STANDARDS Safer Operations, where they served in various roles, including Administrative and Development Manager, Development Manager, and HR Manager. Serge also worked as an HR Manager at Centre Pasteur du Cameroun (CPC) and as a HRIS Manager at Boissons du Cameroun, where they managed information systems and oversaw recruitment and assessments.

OMGBA Serge has a diverse education history. In 1999 to 2003, they obtained a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and Communication from Université Catholique d'Afrique Centrale. In 2016 to 2018, they pursued an Executive Master in Business Administration, specializing in Management and Strategy, from the same university. From 2021 to 2022, they obtained a Master spécialisé recherche en sciences sociales with a focus on Management des Organisations from Université Catholique d'Afrique Centrale. In 2023, they attended the Seed Transformation Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, studying Business Administration and Management, General. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including Fintech Expert Program Flex, Fintech Foundation Program Flex, Green Fintech, and Professional Certified Coach (PCC) in 2023. OMGBA also holds certifications in Penser comme un leader from LinkedIn in 2020, Management des Equipes from AIZ Akademie für Internationale Zusammenarbeit in 2018, and Human Resources Management from Aggreko in 2015.
