Janine van Niekerk

Janine van Niekerk, PhD PMP, is a Senior Change Management Consultant at MTN since October 2021, where transformative initiatives utilize the power of AI to drive growth across 19 African OpCos. With extensive experience as a Senior Program Manager at RISK2INNOV8 from January 2016 to September 2021, Janine managed complex projects for international businesses and promoted change management for successful technology integration. Previously, Janine served as Executive HOD of Business Risk Management at Vodacom Group from 2012 to 2015, focusing on developing and driving risk strategies and frameworks. Janine’s career at Vodacom spans over a decade, encompassing roles in managing risks in new product development and project management of telecom systems. Janine holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Information Services from the University of Cape Town and multiple degrees in Information Systems and Commerce from esteemed institutions, showcasing a strong academic foundation in relevant fields.
