Louis Sekyewa

Louis Sekyewa currently serves as the Head of Mobile Financial Services IT Project Management Office at MTN, a position held since January 2024. Previously, Louis worked at Ericsson for nearly a decade, concluding as the Mobile Financial Services Program Director, overseeing a large-scale Fintech program across multiple countries with managerial responsibilities for over 200 resources. Additional roles at Ericsson included Head of Digital Services for South Western Africa and Program Director for Consulting and Systems Integration. Prior to Ericsson, Louis was employed at Shell, where responsibilities ranged from Regional Desktop Service Delivery Manager to Desktop and Telecommunications Engineer, focusing on IT services management. Early career experience includes IT Support Officer at KYM-NET Uganda LTD and IT Help Desk Support Specialist roles. Louis holds an MBA in Project Management from the Eastern & Southern African Management Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics and Computer Science from Makerere University.
