Mike Blackburn

Mike Blackburn is an experienced executive in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as General Manager and Boost Deployment Lead at MTN since August 2011, and previously holding the position of Chief Financial Officer. Prior roles include Chief Financial Officer for MTN Cameroon and Chief Executive Officer at MTN Zambia, as well as Chief Financial Officer at MTN Uganda and Transtel, where Blackburn progressed from Financial Manager to CFO starting in 1992. Educational qualifications include an Hons. Bachelor of Accounting Science from the University of South Africa, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Witwatersrand.
