Milisa Booi

Milisa Booi serves as the Manager for Group Security Threat and Vulnerability Management at MTN since September 2021, overseeing the identification and management of vulnerabilities across multiple Operating Companies in the MEA region. Prior experience includes a role as a Cyber Security Specialist at Liberty Group South Africa, focusing on enterprise vulnerability scanning across Africa, and as a Cyber Security Analyst at African Bank, where incident management was a primary responsibility. Additionally, Milisa worked at Deloitte South Africa as a Cyber Intelligence Centre Consultant, monitoring IT threats and suggesting security enhancements. Earlier experience includes positions at Performanta (Pty) Ltd and Mimecast, where foundational IT support and departmental coordination were key responsibilities. Milisa holds an Advanced Diploma in General Management from GIBS Business School and a National Diploma in Information Technology from Nelson Mandela University.
