Nosipho Sokhela

Nosipho Sokhela currently serves as Senior Manager for ESG Impact & Reporting at MTN since August 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Sustainability Analyst at Standard Bank Group from February 2016 to August 2022, where significant contributions were made to annual sustainability reporting aligned with IIRC, GRI, and SASB standards. Nosipho also held a position as Graduate Trainee in Personal Business Banking, focusing on strategy formulation and compliance in credit legislation. Educational qualifications include a Sustainability Practitioner Programme from the University of Cambridge, as well as various certifications in risk, compliance, governance, and law from institutions such as the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
