Nasiru Hayatu is an accomplished telecommunications professional with extensive experience in network planning, optimization, and technology leadership. As the General Manager of Network Access Planning and Optimization at MTN Nigeria since August 2022, Nasiru oversees critical network strategy initiatives. Previously, Nasiru held senior leadership roles as Chief Technology and Information Officer at MTN Guinea/Bissau and MTN Nigeria, and as Senior Manager of Radio Planning and Optimization at MTN Nigeria, contributing to significant operational improvements and strategic alignment with shareholder goals. With a strong background in managed services at Ericsson and expertise in various technical domains, Nasiru has demonstrated exceptional capabilities in managing complex projects and leading teams towards achieving operational excellence. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the University of Warwick and an Executive Certificate in Leadership and Management from MIT Sloan School of Management.
