Oby Ugboma Fcib

Oby Ugboma FCIB, FRM serves as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at MTN Nigeria since November 2022. With extensive experience in risk management, Oby has held significant roles such as Group Chief Risk Officer at FSDH Group and Managing Director and Chief Risk Officer at Chapel Hill Denham. Oby is also an Exco Member and Investments Lead at RisingTideAfrica, and serves as a Judge at the Nigerian Risk Summit & Awards. Furthermore, Oby has been a Board Director at NASD OTC Securities Exchange and Chapel Hill Denham Securities Ltd. Previous experiences include leadership positions at JP Morgan, where Oby headed EMEA Risk management. Oby is actively involved in promoting the development of professional African women through the African Women on Board initiative. Academic qualifications include a BSc(Hons) in Financial Services and a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology, alongside certification from the Global Association of Risk Professionals.
