Raphael Tawiah is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in sales, distribution, and commercial management across leading telecommunications and financial institutions. Currently serving as the General Manager of Special Projects at MTN Nigeria since August 2022, Raphael leads the Mobile Money Payment Service Bank (MoMo PSB) distribution transition and the implementation of 5G technology. Prior to this, Raphael held the position of General Manager at Lonestar Cell/MTN Liberia from 2018 to 2022, contributing significantly to a corporate turnaround. Raphael’s tenure at Vodafone Ghana from 2009 to 2018 included roles such as Commercial Director and Head of Sales & Distribution, with a proven track record in driving market expansion and enhancing sales performance. Raphael began a career in the industry at Nestlé and Standard Chartered Bank, building a strong foundation in sales management and marketing. Raphael holds an MBA in Marketing and a Telecommunications Mini MBA from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Hertfordshire.
