Abbad Reda

Abbad Reda began their work experience as the CEO of MTN Liberia from September 2017 to March 2018. Abbad then moved on to MTN Ghana in March 2011 and held the role of CIO until December 2018. As a CIO, they were responsible for providing overall strategy and vision for a sustainable business and ICT infrastructure. Abbad also played a key role in digital business transformation initiatives and product and services innovation. In January 2019, Abbad became the CEO of MTN Afghanistan and remained in that role until April 2023. Currently, they are the Chief Executive Officer of MTN Zambia, starting from May 2023.

Abbad Reda obtained a Master's Degree in Executive MBA from China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in 2016. Prior to that, they completed their Baccalaureate in Lebanese Baccalaureate from NDU between 1995 and 2001, with a focus on Computer & Communication Engineering and Experimental Sciences.
