Sumayah Kyewalyanga

Sumayah Kyewalyanga currently serves as Manager of Commercial Operations: Merchant Acquisition at MTN Zambia, a position held since February 2022. Prior experience includes a role as Digital Payments Manager for Mobile Financial Services at MTN Uganda, where significant growth was achieved for the Merchant payments (MOMOPAY) product, increasing active merchants from 62 in November 2017 to over 18,000 by September 2021. Sumayah Kyewalyanga also worked as Corporate Account Manager in Mobile Financial Services at MTN Uganda, focusing on Service Level Agreements and proposals for various industries. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Harvard University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Uganda Management Institute, and a Bachelor's degree in Development Studies from Makerere University.
