Yowela Katakwe has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Manager of IT Billing & CRM at MTN Zambia since October 2018, following a role as Applications Engineer in Billing & VAS. Prior to MTN Zambia, Yowela worked at Airtel Zambia PLC from April 2010 to June 2014 as a MIS Analyst and OSS Engineer, and began a career in network engineering at BringCom from October 2008 to March 2010. Yowela holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Zambia, completed in December 2022, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Copperbelt University, obtained in March 2008. Early education was completed at Fatima Girls Secondary School, culminating in GCSE qualifications.
