Silke Maurer

Silke Maurer serves as the Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Board at MTU Aero Engines since February 2023. Maurer holds a position as a Member of the Supervisory Board at Bilfinger since April 2021. Previously, Maurer was the Chief Operating Officer and a Member of the Board of Management at Webasto Group from April 2022 to September 2022, and served as COO/CTO at BSH Home Appliances Group from February 2017 to March 2022, overseeing global operations across 42 factories. Maurer's roles have included Senior Vice President for Corporate Technology and Innovation, and Head of Corporate Quality Management at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars from October 2014 to December 2016. Education includes a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Cranfield University and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich.
