Tobias Kohl

Tobias Kohl is an experienced engineering professional specializing in marine propulsion and energy solutions. Since February 2021, Tobias has served as the Director of Application Engineering Marine at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, focusing on commercial marine and yacht applications. Prior to this role, from May 2007 to February 2021, Tobias held multiple positions at MTU, including Senior Manager and Project Manager in Application Engineering for yachts. Earlier experience includes serving as a Project Manager for Automation Systems at Roboworker Automation GmbH from March 2004 to April 2007, and completing a Diploma Thesis at GETRAG in early 2004, along with an internship at Daimler AG in 2002-2003. Tobias holds a Dipl.-Wirt.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Business Administration from Ravensburg-Weingarten University of Applied Sciences, completed in 2004.
