Jake Manchester

Jake Manchester has over 15 years of experience in various roles focused on research development, program management, and data analysis. Currently serving as the Director of Research Development & Corporate Research at Michigan Technological University since February 2008, previous positions include Associate Director of Corporate Research and Business Information & Systems Analyst, where expertise in database management, process improvement, and LEAN methodologies was developed. Jake has a background in contract analysis from the university, where budgets and contracts for sponsored projects were negotiated. Prior experience includes serving as a Sergeant and Combat Engineer in the Army National Guard, as well as leadership roles in program and project management at the Michigamme Methodist Institute. Other work experience encompasses analytical roles at Wipfli LLP and Stora Enso, with a focus on SQL and reporting services. Jake earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Michigan Technological University.
