Katherine Baker

Katherine Baker is currently a Product Engineering Intern at Kimberly-Clark, contributing to the Huggies front-end innovation team by developing testing methods and creating product benefit visualizations. As a Peer Mentor in the Chemical Engineering Department at Michigan Technological University, Katherine advises undergraduate students on course registration and career planning while organizing workshops and coordinating department events. Previous experience includes serving as a Process Engineering Co-op at Billerud, where Katherine optimized the pulping process, and as a Resident Assistant, promoting a safe and inclusive environment in residence halls. Additionally, Katherine worked as an Assistant Supervisor at McNair Dining Hall, where responsibilities included directing student workers and enforcing safety policies. Katherine is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering at Michigan Technological University, expected to graduate in May 2026, following a high school diploma from the Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics.
