Jani Uotila

Jani Uotila has over two decades of experience in the media industry, with a focus on scriptwriting, directing, and producing. Jani started their career at MTV Oy in 1998, where they worked as a document writer and director. Jani also worked as a ski jumping commentator from 2003 to 2018 and as a journalist for Formula 1/MTV Finland from 2015 to 2019. In 2017, they joined Rabbit Films as a scriptwriter, working on various TV shows for different networks. Jani has also held roles as a features reporter at MTV Oy/CMore and FremantleMedia Finland Oy. Jani has recently worked as a writer and director at Groundhog Media Oy. Additionally, Jani has experience as a sport commentator for MTV, YLE, Radio 957, and Radio Sport FM.

From 1996 to 1997, Jani Uotila attended Voionmaan opisto, where they focused on Communication and Media Studies.
