David Sawler

David Sawler, M.S., CPP®, CSSP, is a seasoned security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Since founding Sawler Group in June 2014, David has served as Chief Security Officer and has held director positions in safety and security for the ATX Open and the Mubadala Citi DC Open. David's previous roles include Vice President of Security Services at Xtract One Technologies, Chief Security Officer and Chief Information Security Officer at BOWER EVENTS, and Director of Emergency Preparedness & Security at Lewis County Health System. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Utica University and a Bachelor's of Science in Criminal Justice from Excelsior University, alongside various certifications in information security and law enforcement. David's military background includes significant roles in the US Army and the US Department of Defense.
