Alaa Halawa

Alaa Halawa currently serves as the Head of Healthcare at Mubadala since March 2017. In addition to this role, Alaa Halawa is a Board Member at Neumora, xilis, and Alloy Therapeutics, Inc., as well as a Founding Investor and Board Member at Pretzel Therapeutics. Other engagements include serving as a Board Observer for EQRx and Outpace Bio and as an Investor in Science 37, Ciitizen, and Lyell Immunopharma. Educational background includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Cornell University (2014-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Jordan (1999-2004).
