Gary Hill MSc

Gary Hill MSc has over 30 years of work experience in various roles within the technology field. Gary is currently serving as the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at MuchBetter since July 2022. Prior to that, from February 2019 to July 2022, they worked as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Nedbank Private Wealth International.

From 2007 to 2019, Gary held multiple positions at PokerStars, including Director of IT Operations and The Original NetOp. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing data center operations, IT systems, support, web development, and production systems hosting. Gary led a team of 30 technical staff and provided leadership, facilitation, and technical architecture.

Before joining PokerStars, Gary worked as the Network Operations Manager at Domicilium IOM Limited from August 2000 to July 2007. Gary also had a short stint as a Consultant at XKO (IOM) Limited in 1999. Gary started their career as a Network Analyst at Royal & Sun Alliance International Financial Services in 1993, where they worked until 1999.

Gary Hill MSc completed their education from 2015 to 2019 at The Open University, where they earned a Masters in Advanced Networking (MSc) with a specialization in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications. Prior to this, they attended St Ninians High School from 1987 to 1993. No information is available regarding their education before high school.
