Ian Stirling

Ian Stirling has a diverse work experience that spans over multiple industries. Ian is the Founder/Co-CEO of The Port of Leith Distillery since 2016 and also holds the same title at Muckle Brig Ltd since 2014. Prior to starting their own ventures, Ian worked as the Off-Trade Sales Department Manager at Roberson Wine from 2011 to 2017. Ian also served as an Assistant Manager at Majestic Wine from 2009 to 2011. Ian began their career as an Account Executive at Arthur Leone PR from 2005 to 2007, where they managed PR campaigns for various arts organizations and publicity for major actors and productions.

Ian Stirling attended The Edinburgh Academy from 1987 to 2000, where they completed their primary and secondary education. After that, they attended King's College London from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in French with English, focusing on humanities and humanistic studies. In 2010, they pursued further education at WSET, completing the WSET Advanced Certificate Level 3 in Wine and Spirits.
