Lim Guan Teik

Tan Sri Lim Guan Teik was appointed to the Board on 1st November 1983. He held various key positions in the Company. He is a member of the Audit Committee and sits on the board of several local and overseas subsidiaries in the Group. Graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from Nanyang University of Singapore in 1960, he was one of the early pioneers of the paper industry in Malaysia. He was the President of the Malaysian Pulp & Paper Manufacturers Association (MPPMA) from 1980 to 1992 and is currently one of MPPMA’s advisers. Tan Sri Lim was also President of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) and the Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor (KLSCCCI) from 1998 to 2003. He is currently the Honorary Life President of ACCCIM, KLSCCCI and the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce.
