Martin Nikolaev

Martin Nikolaev is a Data Innovation Delivery Manager at Mudano, starting in November 2021. In this role, they lead a team of data scientists and prompt engineers to develop Proof of Concepts using Large Language Models to drive efficiency in greenhouse emission calculations and sustainability research. Martin also conducts discovery workshops with clients and collaborates with cloud engineers to move successful PoCs into production.

Prior to joining Mudano, Martin worked at Baringa Partners from 2016 to 2021. There, they held various roles including Senior Consultant. In this position, they defined the Data Target Operating Model for an Innovation Sandbox Platform, allowing the client to share data securely with FinTechs. Martin also worked as a Data TOM Consultant for a major Farmers Mutual Insurer, designing a Data Target Operating Model as part of their Data Strategy. Additionally, they served as an IT Strategy Lead for a major British GI Insurer, conducting a strategic review of systems in different functional areas.

Martin's previous experience includes working as an Analyst at Deloitte UK from 2013 to 2014 and as a Consultant at SECEUR from 2012 to 2013.

Martin Nikolaev began their education at the High School of Mathematics, 'Dr. Petar Beron' in Varna, Bulgaria, where they obtained a Diploma Za Sredno Obrazovanie in Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, they attended Lancaster University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Management. In 2012, they also participated in a study abroad program at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, specializing in International Business Administration.

In addition to their formal education, Martin has obtained various certifications to enhance their professional skills. In 2019, they acquired the PRINCE2:2017® Foundation certification from QA Ltd. Martin also received the PRINCE2 Agile® Practitioner Certificate in Agile Project Management from the same institution. Martin is also a Certified SAFe 4 Agilist, accredited by Scaled Agile, Inc., and a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certified by the Scrum Alliance.
