Adel Abuellel

Adel Abuellel has extensive work experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry. Adel is currently the Chief Operations Officer at Sierra Engineering & Manufacturing, where they lead the R&D teams and enhances product design and cost reduction efforts. Adel is also responsible for setting the business plan for the company. Prior to this role, Abuellel held a similar position at Sierra Engineering and Manufacturing Company, where they implemented lean manufacturing and conducted a SWOT analysis to set the company's strategy.

Before joining Sierra, Abuellel served as the VP of Engineering, Manufacturing, and International Sales at Greater Cairo Foundries (GCF), a leading valves, fittings, and pipe manufacturing organization in the Middle East. Adel successfully implemented Lean Production systems throughout the organization, significantly improving productivity, efficiency, and product quality.

Abuellel also has experience at Mueller Co., where they served as the Director of International Business Development and Sales for the Middle East and Africa. In this role, they oversaw business development, sales, account management, and marketing campaigns. Adel established and maintained profitable relationships with distribution partners and negotiated contractual agreements.

Earlier in their career, Abuellel held the position of Director of Engineering at Henry Pratt Company, a division of Mueller Company. Adel led engineering, business development, and sales efforts and expanded the organization's presence in key markets. Prior to that, they were the Chief Product Engineer at Mueller Co., managing product engineering and R&D operations.

Abuellel's career also includes their time at M&H Valve Company, where they served as a Senior Product Engineer. Adel coordinated product and application engineering operations and led design initiatives for major clients. Adel also played a key role in developing a full line of Butterfly Valves and redesigning an existing line.

Overall, Abuellel has a strong background in operations, engineering, and sales, with a focus on product innovation, cost reduction, and business growth.

Adel Abuellel pursued their higher education at Jacksonville State University from 1996 to 1999, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Their field of study during this time was focused on Marketing, Management, and Business. Prior to their time at Jacksonville State University, Adel Abuellel attended the Military Engineering College, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Adel Abuellel has also acquired several certifications to further enhance their skillset. In 2006, they obtained the Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the American Management Association. Continuing their professional development, Adel Abuellel completed the Strategic Leadership certification from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2010. Finally, in 2011, they obtained the Strategic Sales Negotiations certification from the American Management Association.
