Tim Ruhl

Tim Ruhl has over 20 years of work experience in various roles within the technology industry. Tim is currently working as the Senior Director of Product - Asset Management Solutions at Mueller Water Products since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Synamedia as the Director, Solutions Marketing from October 2018 to April 2020, where they established a solution marketing team and delivered quarterly objectives. Before Synamedia, Tim worked at Cisco Systems for over a decade in different positions. Tim served as a Senior Manager in Solution Product Management from December 2016 to October 2018, where they developed and promoted advanced platform concepts. Tim also worked as a Senior Technical Product Manager from May 2012 to December 2016, leading the product transformation to a cloud services SaaS model. Earlier in their career, Tim held roles at Cisco Systems as a Software Engineering Manager, Client Architecture, and Technical Leader & Architect in IPTV Engineering. Tim started their career at Scientific Atlanta as a System Design Engineer & Software Engineer.

Tim Ruhl has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) with a focus on Digital Communications from West Virginia University. Tim also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business. In addition, Tim has obtained various certifications including Learning Cloud Computing: Monitoring and Operations from LinkedIn, Introduction to 5G from LinkedIn, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft, Data Analytics for Business Professionals from LinkedIn, Edge Analytics: IoT and Data Science from LinkedIn, and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2020.
