Kenji Takagi

Kenji Takagi currently serves as the Head of Real Estate for JCIB (Japanese Corporate & Investment Banking) EMEA at MUFG since August 2025, focusing on originating, structuring, and managing real estate transactions while promoting real estate loans to Japanese corporates. Prior to this, Kenji was a Relationship Manager in Real Estate Finance at DBS Bank from July 2022 to July 2025 and held various leadership roles including Co-Head and Deputy Head of Principal Investments at Daiwa Capital Markets Europe Ltd from October 2018 to June 2022, and Deputy Head of European Real Estate Finance at Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited in London from 2016 to 2018. Kenji also has experience in maritime asset finance, complex deal structuring, and business development from roles at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Deutsche Pfandbriefbank AG, and Morgan Stanley Properties Japan K.K. Educational achievements include an MBA in Real Estate and Finance from the University of Southern California and a BA in Communication from International Christian University.
