Sameer Lalji

Sameer Lalji is an experienced professional in the finance sector, currently serving as Global Sales COO for Markets Fixed Income & Equities at BNY Mellon since June 2022. Prior to this role, Sameer held various positions at Deutsche Bank from September 2008 to May 2022, including ITC Sales Business Management and multiple vice president roles in FX, Commodities, Treasury Operations, and Treasury Finance, with a focus on middle office functions for Global Finance and Foreign Exchange. Sameer began a career in finance as a Finance Intern at Teather & Greenwood in July 2007. Sameer holds a Master of Science in Mathematical Trading and Finance from Cass Business School (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Birmingham (2005-2008).
