Tracy Lussier joined Mugar Enterprises, Inc., in 1996. She has managed a variety of family investments and operational businesses in the MEI portfolio. As Vice President of Business and Administration, Tracy also oversaw office operations and family services. In January 2021, Tracy was named President of Mugar Enterprises succeeding David Ting.
Tracy is responsible for the administrative services of Mugar Enterprises; she oversees the operations of companies located in New England and in the U.S. Virgin Islands including an anchor supermarket, Starfish Market; and the largest mixed-use retail shopping and professional center on St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands; she handles special projects for members of the Mugar family, including portfolio management, business administration and estate planning; and will oversee the exploration of strategic opportunities to grow the business with the Mugar family.
Tracy earned her MBA at Boston University School of Management in 1990, a BS in Journalism in 1989, and a BA in English in 1988, from Boston University.
Tracy began her career at WHDH-TV, the NBC affiliate in Boston. She subsequently worked at the CBS affiliate WBZ-TV and Radio in business technology prior to joining Mugar Enterprises.
