Ken Patterson

Ken Patterson has extensive work experience in maintenance and facilities management. From 1989 to 2018, they worked at Conestoga Wood Specialties, where they served as the Maintenance and Machine Shop Supervisor. In this role, they supervised a team of 13 technicians, managed the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) for over 800 machines, and handled project management for capital improvement projects. Since 2018, they have been the Director of Physical Plant at Muhlenberg School District, overseeing a staff of 35 in the maintenance and custodial departments. Their responsibilities include managing the CMMS for the facility, which spans over 800,000 square feet.

Ken Patterson earned a High School Diploma in General Studies from Garden Spot High School in the years 1980 to 1984. Following this, they obtained a Certificate in General Auto Mechanics from Brownstown Vocational Technical School between 1981 and 1984. In 2012, Ken attended Reading Area Community College and completed an Associate's Degree in Business Administration, which they finished in 2015. Lastly, Ken pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with a focus on Healthcare Management and Administration, from Colorado State University Global from 2015 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, Ken also obtained Hazwooper Training certification from the State of Pennsylvania's Safety Committee in January 2016.
