Philip Fyvie has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Philip started their career as an Analyst Programmer at Perception Studios, where they worked on developing a cross-platform first-person shooter game. Philip then interned at Cisco as a College Intern, constructing recreations of customer networks and assisting in integrating equipment and technology.
After that, Philip joined Speakerbus as a 3rd Level Network Support, providing network support for the company. Philip then joined Protogen Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they were responsible for delivering projects and infrastructure across different domains, including medico-legal, digital marketing, education, and IT services. Philip also played a key role in the development and maintenance of Protogen's internal IT infrastructure.
In 2015, Philip became the CTO of HubNami, a startup company focused on social media analytics. Philip led technical reforms and improvements to the product, resulting in successful deals with global clients.
Since 2017, Philip has been working at Mujin, Inc. as an Infrastructure and Development Engineer. Philip started as a Senior Engineer and then was promoted to Principal Engineer. In this role, Philip was involved in the design, project management, and build-out of the company's new headquarters. Philip also played a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining the infrastructure for a Tokyo robotic control and industrial automation start-up company.
Throughout their career, Philip has demonstrated expertise in infrastructure design, project management, software development, and network support.
Philip Fyvie attended The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) in Wollongong from 2000 to 2005, where they completed their high school education. In 2006, they enrolled at the University of Technology Sydney and pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering along with a Diploma in Engineering Practice. During their time at the university, Philip focused on fields such as ICT, Software, and Engineering Practice. In December 2007, they obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification from Cisco Career Certifications.
