Sugato Das

Sugato Das is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in advisory and management roles across various sectors. As the Founder and Executive Partner of Mulberry Tree Partners since October 2010, Sugato Das leads initiatives in equity syndication, mergers and acquisitions, and investment structuring within the GCC, UK, and India, while overseeing managed services via Formation Ventures. In addition, Sugato Das founded and directs The Metropolitan School of Music in India, focusing on Western classical music education and collaboration with international standards. Previously, Sugato Das held senior positions at Global Investment House and Net4 India Ltd, as well as a business analyst role at Reliance Industries Limited. Academically, Sugato Das holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics and a PhD from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, alongside a B.Sc. in Economics from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
